When the corona pandemic hit the world, the shoe and textile care manufacturer Collonil expanded its production to include disinfectants. How the traditional Berlin company is defying the crisis with this reorientation.

For Collonil, the corona pandemic is a prime example of how suddenly everything can be different. In 2019, the company set up a digital sales network with Chinese partners in order to tap into the booming Asian market for shoe and textile care products. However, the spread of the Covid-19 virus in China in January 2020 forced Collonil to improvise.
