“The holy halls of shoe polish” are part of the free Düttmann exhibition.
The famous architect and city planner Werner Düttmann would have turned 100 this month. Not only as an architect, but also as Senate Building Director, Professor of the Technical University and President of the Academy of Arts, Düttmann had a decisive influence on the image of West Berlin in the post-war period.
