Every year there are more people in Berlin who have to get through the winter without shelter. This year, the situation is particularly precarious due to the limited availability of help due to the corona pandemic. Seldom have social institutions been so dependent on donations and assistance.
Berliner Homelesshilfe has been providing homeless people with hot meals, coffee, tea, fruit, sandwiches, clothing, sleeping bags and sleeping mats since 2013. Especially in the cold season there is a lack of warm places to sleep and protective clothing.
As a Berlin company, Collonil has been firmly rooted in the city for 112 years. With a donation in kind, Collonil is currently supporting the work of the Berliner Homeless e.V. Among other things, Collonil donates thermosoles and other products that protect against the cold to the non-profit organization.
Managing director Frank Becker emphasizes how important it is to look out for one another, especially in these special times. And to make sure that no one is left behind.
